Syllabration
is the union of two words: "syllable" and "celebration."
So Syllabration is, by definition,
a celebration
of the written word. I created Syllabration to help businesses, organizations
and individuals pursue excellence in written communication.
Read the
recent article I wrote with John Wooden, one

In my 14
years in the editorial field, I've learned to wear many hats. Some of
the hats fit naturally. Others looked a little goofy at first, but then
I got used to them. Some I tried on out of sheer necessity. Here are some
of the hats I'm prepared to wear for you:

I started
my editorial career in 1988 as a staff writer for a magazine. Three years
later, a friend asked me to help edit the manuscript of a novel she'd
